Facilitator: Keith Ó Brolacháin
Keith’s initial degree was a B. Comm. with Irish in UCC, followed by the Postgraduate Diploma in Education in Mary Immaculate College in 2005. He began teaching in Gaelscoil an Ghoirt Álainn where he worked for 5 years. Keith was appointed principal of Walterstown NS in Cobh in 2011, spending the first 5 and a half years as teaching principal before becoming administrative principal in 2017. The school has 8 mainstream classes with two special classes, soon to become three.
Keith is an associate with the NIPT and a CARA with the CSL. The supportive element of being a principal and a member of both associations is where he gets the greatest sense of achievement and joy in the job. He is currently following a pathway to accreditation as a Foundation Executive Coach with the Association for Coaching. Conference 2019 will be Keith’s 8th IPPN conference and his second year facilitating. He finds it to be one of the most uplifting professional development events and personally nurturing activities of his working year. Keith wishes all participants the very best for the 2019 Conference.
